Description

  • Advise on React Native architecture, application structure, and technical approach.
  • Define and guide the integration strategy between React Native applications and backend services.
  • Provide technical solutions and architectural recommendations throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Evaluate technical approaches to identify scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Ensure frontend and backend components align with the overall application architecture.
  • Contribute to technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices.
  • Support the team in identifying technical risks and recommending appropriate solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience designing modern, scalable full-stack architectures.
  • Strong understanding of React Native architecture and application development.
  • Experience designing and integrating frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
  • Strong understanding of modern software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
  • Experience working across frontend and backend technologies within a larger system.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical solutioning skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to engineers and stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional and distributed engineering teams.
  • Comfortable providing technical guidance and architectural direction without being the primary hands-on development lead.
  • Professional English proficiency with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fully remote freelance contract opportunity.
  • Independent Contractor engagement type.
  • Start date: September 14, 2026.
  • End date: March 12, 2027.
  • Location: Colombia; remote within Colombia.
  • Must use own computer and equipment.
  • If selected and holding a degree in Engineering or a related profession, must present a professional license.
