Description

  • Design, develop, and deploy X++ enhancements, extensions, and customizations.
  • Build and enhance business logic, batch jobs, classes, tables, forms, and reports.
  • Tune X++ code, queries, batch processes, and data entities to improve system performance.
  • Develop and support SSRS reports, data entities, custom services, APIs, and integrations.
  • Build integrations using REST, OData, DMF, Dual-write, and custom interfaces.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain development best practices and quality standards.
  • Support builds, releases, and deployments through LCS and Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Provide L3 production support, resolving incidents, defects, and service requests within SLAs.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for production issues.
  • Document fixes and deployments, identify system risks, and collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of hands-on X++ development experience with AX 2012 R3 and/or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Experience in a Managed Services, AMS, or production-support environment.
  • Expertise in extensions, customizations, SSRS reports, and data entities.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-optimization capabilities.
  • Understanding of REST, OData, DMF, Dual-write, and other integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with LCS, Azure DevOps, and deployment processes.
  • Ability to independently manage work across multiple customer environments.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with global stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MB-500, MB-300, MB-920, PL-900, or equivalent; exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, and D365 functional modules is preferred.
