Description

  • Manage work orders, work requests, and the preventive maintenance module, updating records as needed.
  • Schedule and assign planned work orders with the maintenance team.
  • Maintain and update the MP2/CMMS system, including equipment, locations, accounts, and facility members.
  • Prepare weekly work-performed reports and download them into the CMMS.
  • File completed work order documentation in the required records system.
  • Schedule planned contractor work for facility and plant equipment.
  • Assist with parts and supplies inventory, procurement, receiving, and stockroom support.
  • Prepare RFPs for spare parts, replenishment orders, and supplies, and develop supplier scoring and bid lists.
  • Interpret technical procedures, mechanical/electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to plan and schedule services.
  • Support food safety, GMP, and food quality compliance, and report issues promptly to management.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and purchasing preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with MRP procurement, inventory control, and vendor selection criteria.
  • Experience working with outside vendors and contractors to support purchasing needs.
  • Experience working as a maintenance planner-scheduler.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and a CMMS program.
  • Willingness to learn and use CMMS, time management software, and tools such as OPLs, SOPs, and 5S methods.
  • Advanced computer skills with MS Suite, AB Suite, and networking capabilities.
  • Ability to inspect equipment, identify potential problems, and take preventive action independently.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays, and off-shifts in a 24/7 plant environment.
