Description

  • Design, build, and ship Python backend services and APIs using Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
  • Develop the React and React Native frontends supported by backend services.
  • Own features end to end in collaboration with product, operations, and growth teams.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools for planning, code generation, review, testing, and evaluation.
  • Maintain engineering standards for CI, peer review, automated testing, observability, and safe AWS releases.
  • Build and maintain reliable integrations with booking channels, payment providers, and messaging platforms.
  • Translate operational hosting challenges into production software solutions.
  • Mentor teammates through code review and practical examples of effective engineering and AI workflows.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience with deep hands-on Python expertise and solid React experience.
  • Daily production use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar, with sound judgment about their limitations.
  • Strong API design, relational database, and CI/CD experience, including PostgreSQL, Docker, GitHub Actions or CircleCI, and AWS.
  • Experience shipping, operating, troubleshooting, and improving production systems.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Based in Georgia and able to work as an independent contractor.
  • Able to overlap with UK working hours.
  • Experience building agentic workflows or LLM product features, including tool use, evaluations, prompt caching, or cost control (preferred).
  • Experience with React Native, Elastic Stack, or proptech, travel, or marketplace products (preferred).

  • USD 4,500–6,000 monthly contractor fee excluding VAT (approximately GEL 11,700–15,600).
