Description

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for medium- to large-scale initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to support successful delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet timelines and goals.
  • Assist in developing business cases and project justifications.
  • Ensure technology solutions and services meet company standards and user requirements.
  • Determine project team structure and clarify roles and responsibilities.
  • Assign work, set direction, and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple functions to maintain alignment and efficiency.
  • Identify, document, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for project sponsors, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Prepare and present status reports and updates for project teams and executive audiences.
  • Lead communications with steering committees and senior management.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4–8 years of project management experience managing medium- to large-scale projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Life and Employee Benefits Insurance.
  • Experience working across multiple lines of business and product areas.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while managing multiple priorities.
  • Project Management certification or coursework such as CAPM or PMP preferred.
  • Experience in technology-driven environments or IT project delivery preferred.

Benefits

  • Annual salary range of $89,800 to $125,500, commensurate with experience and location.
  • Ongoing education in Project/Program Management is encouraged and supported.
  • Periodic travel may be required.
  • Normal office environment.
