Description

  • Build and maintain shared secure infrastructure, including web app hosting patterns, MCP/API standards, secret and key management, model selection guardrails, and a centralized pattern library.
  • Own the review, tracking, and advisory process for corporate AI and automation builds before deployment.
  • Partner with AI specialists across departments to scope, build, and ship AI and automation solutions that meet security, cost, and scalability standards.
  • Define and maintain a secure intake process for AI and automation requests across the organization.
  • Monitor, alert on, and help set thresholds for AI usage and spend across tools and platforms.
  • Collaborate across teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and maintain trusted cross-functional relationships.
  • Assess risk in AI workflows and communicate findings, guardrails, and escalation points clearly.
  • Support forward-deployed implementation of agentic workflows, API integrations, and related automation systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical operations, IT, or support roles with a focus on systems integration, automation, and workflow optimization.
  • Practical experience building or managing automation pipelines.
  • Recent experience within the past year deploying LLM integrations or advanced AI tools into existing workflows.
  • Proven track record building and shipping AI integrations and automation workflows using tools such as n8n, Workato, Zapier, or similar platforms.
  • Comfort with Python, Google Apps Script, or similar scripting languages.
  • Hands-on experience with large language model tools in a business setting, including prompt engineering, agent design, Claude Skills, MCP servers, or API integrations.
  • Practical understanding of AI risks such as prompt injection, data exposure, and over-scoped access.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, especially GCP, including secrets management, IAM fundamentals, and secure-by-default hosting patterns.
  • Ability to influence without authority across all levels of the organization.
  • Clear, structured communication skills for writing reviews, explaining guardrails, and escalating risks.
  • Remote role available only in AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, or PA.
