Description

  • Own end-to-end customer billing, including invoice generation, validation, and delivery across multiple currencies.
  • Manage monthly subscription and usage-based billing cycles, including scheduled and off-cycle bill runs.
  • Submit invoices through customer AP portals and ensure timely invoice distribution.
  • Maintain billing schedules, contract updates, and customer records in NetSuite SuiteBilling.
  • Respond to customer billing inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success on billing setup, billing changes, renewals, and customer communication.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and support collections activities, including automated dunning and direct outreach.
  • Conduct weekly AR aging reviews, communicate with customers about overdue balances, and support payment plans.
  • Support month-end close activities related to AR and bad debt considerations.
  • Reconcile billing data across NetSuite, Salesforce, and internal systems and validate usage-based charges.
  • Support internal audits, financial reporting, and improvements to quote-to-cash workflows and system integrations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Operations, or related Finance roles.
  • SaaS or recurring billing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of subscription billing and usage-based billing processes in a SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on experience with billing systems, ideally NetSuite SuiteBilling or equivalent platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging directly with customers.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
