Description

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver product outcomes.
  • Serve as the technical bridge between stakeholders and the engineering team, translating business needs into technical plans.
  • Make strategic decisions on system architecture, tools, and long-term scalability to support growth.
  • Oversee end-to-end development across frontend and backend systems, ensuring features are delivered on time.
  • Ensure code quality, security, performance, and maintainability through standards and reviews.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to prioritize work, manage technical debt, and plan deliveries.
  • Promote a team-first, problem-solving culture focused on product success and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Turn complex ideas into reliable systems by guiding architectural direction and implementation choices.

Requirements

  • Strong experience using TypeScript across frontend and backend development.
  • 5+ years working with Node.js, preferably with FastifyJS or NestJS.
  • Advanced proficiency in ReactJS and Next.js for frontend development.
  • Proven experience designing secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
  • 2+ years integrating Twilio (voice, SMS, or automation workflows).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments.
  • Experience with Stripe (SaaS subscriptions) and Zapier developer integrations.
  • Experience with prompt engineering and AI workflow frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
  • Proven leadership experience mentoring development teams, conducting code reviews, and guiding technical decisions.
  • Reliable remote work setup: primary internet >=15 Mbps and backup >=10 Mbps (backup must work during power outages); primary device with Intel Core i5 (8th gen+) / Intel Core i3 (10th gen+) / AMD Ryzen 5 or equivalent and >=8 GB RAM; backup device meeting or exceeding Intel Core i3 performance; functioning webcam, noise-canceling USB headset, quiet dedicated home office, and a smartphone for communication/verification.
