Description

  • Serve as a clinical resource for members seeking guidance on screenings and preventive care.
  • Provide live support to members via phone, email, and chat for clinical questions during program use.
  • Review client plan documents and prepare benefit coverage summaries for internal support teams.
  • Provide coverage documentation for specialty protocols such as physical therapy, chiropractic, oncology, and bariatric procedures.
  • Serve as a clinical point of contact for providers with questions about treatment options, second opinions, and alternative care plans.
  • Follow up on pending items and keep members updated promptly.
  • Log and document member and provider questions according to documentation standards for reviews and legal purposes.
  • Initiate and oversee infographics and marketing materials for healthcare awareness campaigns.
  • Collaborate with management on special projects and project priorities.
  • Perform miscellaneous office duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Care Coordinator, Case Manager, or in a similar healthcare role.
  • Strong clinical background with knowledge of preventive healthcare measures and treatment options.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience handling member and provider inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare documentation standards and legal requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare plan documentation and benefit coverage preferred.
  • Familiarity with creating educational and marketing materials for healthcare awareness preferred.
  • HIPAA certification or training preferred.
  • USRN certificate preferred.
  • Active NCLEX license preferred.
  • Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps and a backup connection of at least 10 Mbps.
  • Desktop or laptop with an Intel Core i5 8th generation or newer, Intel Core i3 10th generation or newer, AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent, plus at least 8 GB RAM.
  • Backup device that meets or exceeds the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor and can function during power interruptions.
  • Functioning webcam and noise-canceling USB headset.
  • Quiet, dedicated home office space.
  • Smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
