Description

  • Own the end-to-end QA lifecycle across HighLevel’s web and mobile products, including release readiness and defect leakage closure.
  • Define, implement, and continuously evolve QA strategy, processes, quality standards, release criteria, and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Provide release readiness reports, quality metrics, defect trends, and risk insights to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks covering UI (web), API/backend, integration, and end-to-end layers.
  • Actively contribute as an individual contributor in manual and automated testing and develop/execute functional and non-functional test cases.
  • Lead performance, load, scalability, security, accessibility, regression, smoke, sanity, and API testing for critical features and services.
  • Implement and evolve the test automation platform, internal QA tools, test observability, dashboards, and analytics to improve test efficiency and reliability.
  • Reduce test flakiness through intelligent retries, failure analysis, stability improvements, and contribute CI/CD quality gates and continuous testing pipelines.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 3–4 QA/SDET engineers, set coding and automation standards, review automation code and test cases, and produce onboarding documentation and training materials.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in QA, Software Testing, or SDET roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in a senior or lead testing role.
  • Proven hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing and the ability to independently own quality end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience building and scaling automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
  • Solid understanding and experience with API, backend, integration testing, and testing microservices/micro-frontends and data flows.
  • Experience with performance, load, and scalability testing and validating infrastructure-level quality in containerized/distributed environments.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, continuous testing, and quality gates.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring skills, and a quality-first, customer-first mindset.
  • Familiarity or interest in emerging technologies and approaches (AI/ML, LLM-based testing, BDD, test observability) is a plus.
