Description

  • Perform deep-dive analyses such as cohort analysis and A/B tests to assess the impact of product decisions on customer retention.
  • Investigate open-ended customer and business questions and turn complex data into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Combine quantitative data with qualitative feedback from reviews, sensory testing, and surveys to build a full view of the customer.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer offering through independent research and analysis.
  • Build and maintain queries, dashboards, and automated Google Sheets tools for the Product team.
  • Create and track metrics that explain the relationship between team actions, customer engagement, and business performance.
  • Automate repetitive data tasks to reduce manual work and improve team efficiency.
  • Promote data literacy, data quality, and best practices across the Product team.
  • Improve and automate the weekly business performance review process to make it more useful and reliable.
  • Support cross-functional analysis and process automation where Product intersects with Production and Procurement.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in Product Analytics, Data Analytics, or a highly quantitative Business Intelligence role.
  • Mastery of Excel or Google Sheets and SQL.
  • Comfort using Python for data manipulation.
  • Experience using Tableau for data visualization.
  • Curiosity for and familiarity with AI tools is a major plus.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup, subscription or e-commerce, and/or FMCG environment is a major plus.
  • Ability to structure experiments, identify bias in data, and ensure insights are statistically sound.
  • Bias for action and a proactive, curious approach to finding insights.
  • Resourcefulness in working through messy or undocumented data.
  • Strong storytelling ability to make complex analysis understandable and actionable.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, pre-product-market-fit environments and building useful tools.
  • Customer-obsessed mindset with empathy for real-world customer experiences.
