Description

  • Provide real-time design judgment embedded with engineering teams, giving fast, clear feedback and making go/hold calls in the moment.
  • Design and iterate directly in code and AI workflows to shape outputs through structure and presentation, not just visuals.
  • Design AI–human interactions and agent behaviors that handle ambiguity, uncertainty, and evolving context while making outputs legible and trustworthy.
  • Reduce cognitive load and structure information to support better decision-making and correct user perception of system outputs.
  • Create near-term prototypes and interaction experiments that set direction and give the team concrete artifacts to align around.
  • Define system coherence across broker, member, and assistant surfaces so the product feels like a unified intelligence rather than disconnected features.
  • Collect field signals by talking to brokers, members, and internal teams and bring back insights that change product direction.
  • Steer product trajectories over time to prevent feature fragmentation and ensure a consistent, evolving product thinking.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of product design experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating both execution quality and directional thinking, including examples of fast judgment, shipped tradeoffs, and prototypes (AI or adaptive systems work is a plus).
  • Strong systems thinking: experience designing flows, states, and feedback loops across multiple surfaces (broker and member interactions).
  • AI-native mindset: regular use of AI tools and demonstrated thinking about designing for probabilistic/non-deterministic AI outputs (side projects and experiments count).
  • Proven ability to deliver high execution velocity with fast decisions and real-time feedback.
  • Comfort working in code and editing UI/interactions directly rather than only producing specs.
  • Cognitive empathy: ability to identify where users get stuck and design for perception as well as function.
  • Ability to set near-term vision and create prototypes that align teams and inform short-term product direction.
