Description

  • Lead design for a domain by making strategic product and user experience decisions for core features and future functionality.
  • Mentor teammates, give and solicit feedback, and help raise the overall quality bar across the design team.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to understand customer needs and validate solutions.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Contribute to the design system and maintain consistency across product experiences and coded artifacts.
  • Facilitate design critiques, reviews, and workshops across teams or domains.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to build scalable, polished components.
  • Use AI prototyping to explore concepts, iterate with peers, and bring ideas to life with functional flows.
  • Champion usability, scalability, and accessibility across all design work.
  • Advocate for quality and improve cross-functional ways of working across the organization.

Requirements

  • Exemplary experience as an individual contributor designing, evolving, and innovating user interfaces.
  • Strong ability to empathize with enterprise users and apply user-centered design techniques at scale.
  • An impressive product design portfolio demonstrating holistic systems thinking and strong visual and interaction design fundamentals.
  • Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working autonomously on complex domains and multiple overlapping projects in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering partners to build consensus and drive outcomes.
  • Ability to influence design quality, culture, and ways of working across an organization.
  • Experience designing complex B2B SaaS solutions in HRTech, FinTech, or similar industries is preferred.
  • Experience working remotely is a plus, though not required.
  • Alignment with Remote’s core values and comfort working in an AI-enabled environment.
