Description

  • Design and implement scalable data lake and lakehouse architectures for event-driven data platforms.
  • Build and maintain high-performance Python pipelines, microservices, and data collection APIs.
  • Work with streaming and messaging systems to ingest and process event tracking data.
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and preventive observability practices to keep platforms resilient.
  • Ensure data governance, access control, auditability, quality, and lineage across the data stack.
  • Optimize storage, queries, partitioning, compression, and infrastructure costs.
  • Investigate and resolve root causes using advanced telemetry and monitoring.
  • Collaborate across software engineering and data architecture to translate product needs into data platforms.

Requirements

  • Strong experience designing and implementing Data Lakes and Lakehouses, including Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, or Apache Hudi.
  • Experience with Lambda, Kappa, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with data catalog, lineage, fine-grained access control, and audit tools such as Unity Catalog, DataHub, OpenMetadata, or AWS Lake Formation.
  • Advanced Python proficiency for building pipelines, microservices, and data ingestion APIs.
  • Experience with streaming and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or RabbitMQ.
  • Strong Terraform experience for automated multicloud infrastructure provisioning across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience orchestrating containers with Kubernetes.
  • Deep knowledge of query optimization, partitioning, compression formats such as Parquet and Avro, storage cost management, and observability.
  • Preferred experience implementing Data Mesh and Data Contracts.
  • Preferred understanding of experiment delivery infrastructure and basic web/mobile concepts for tag and event tracking support.
