Description

  • Support resolution of commercial, operational, contractual, compliance, and lender-related matters with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with financial planning, monthly accruals, plant improvement tracking, and analysis of business-related financial impacts.
  • Analyze project-level P&L statements, variance drivers, and cash flow forecasts, and summarize findings for portfolio managers.
  • Support annual budgeting and long-term financial planning by reviewing asset performance and standardizing assumptions.
  • Review operational and financial KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve asset performance.
  • Calculate, validate, and report Availability, Performance Ratio, energy yield, and other key metrics.
  • Prepare dashboards, lender reports, stakeholder updates, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Manage reporting cycles, maintain trackers, consolidate inputs, and communicate financial, operational, and contractual obligations.
  • Improve reporting tools, data quality, standardized processes, and asset management workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, economics, environmental studies, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy, asset management, project finance, operations, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; VBA, Power BI, or similar analytics tools preferred.
  • Basic understanding of organized energy market fundamentals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to research, understand, and apply knowledge in new areas.
  • Exceptional organization and work ethic with the ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and interest in renewable energy and the energy transition.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $85,000–$100,000.
