Description

  • Lead technical discovery calls and translate customer needs into high-level solution designs.
  • Partner with account executives and practice leadership to support pre-sales engagements and maintain technical alignment.
  • Speak credibly about product capabilities, integrations, and architectural trade-offs across SIEM, SOAR, detection-as-code, and related technologies.
  • Draw integration diagrams and validate technical feasibility for proposed solutions.
  • Position GuidePoint Security’s differentiated capabilities to prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with delivery architects to ensure smooth transitions from sales to implementation.
  • Stay current on security operations trends, emerging platforms, and competitive positioning.
  • Embrace emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve problem-solving and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Must live in the Northeast region (NJ to Maine).
  • Up to 25% travel is required, primarily within the region.
  • Strong technical understanding of SIEM, SOAR, and detection-as-code ecosystems.
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and appropriately to different audiences.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong listening, questioning, and trust-building skills.
  • Curiosity and adaptability to learn new platforms such as Snowflake as customer needs evolve.
  • Experience in security operations, consulting, or pre-sales engineering is preferred.
  • Breadth, communication, and judgment are valued more than deep implementation expertise.
  • Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM, Tines, Torque, and Snowflake is preferred.
