Description

  • Triaging, prioritizing, and tracking notifications of potential third-party liability for medical costs received through multiple channels.
  • Maintaining accurate records of open subrogation cases and responding within required timelines.
  • Identifying and sharing claims related to potential third-party liability.
  • Leading negotiation and final settlement of subrogation claims to maximize Gravie's recovery while following laws and internal policies.
  • Identifying process improvements and opportunities to increase collections in subrogation and coordination of benefits overpayments.
  • Partnering with payment integrity leadership on projects and workflows, including provider credit balance recoupments, as time permits.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally on related processes and procedures across divisions.
  • Working to ensure technology and processes support efficient workflows department-wide and interdepartmentally.
  • Handling escalated scenarios as business needs require.
  • Maintaining a flexible work schedule based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Experience with subrogation processes at a commercial health plan.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with a wide range of individuals.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, shift gears comfortably, and make decisions without having the full picture.
  • Proven ability to get results and thrive in an ever-evolving environment.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations mandated by CMS, DPW, and PID related to coordination of benefits, subrogation, and Medicare.
  • Previous startup company experience is a plus.
