Description

  • Design and develop research-level or graduate-level mathematical problems involving scientific computing and Python programming.
  • Define clear problem structures, including categories, tags, and difficulty levels.
  • Solve complex problems using rigorous mathematical and computational methods while ensuring accuracy and logical consistency.
  • Participate in two-tier reviews to evaluate the accuracy of both problems and solutions.
  • Collaborate with reviewers and team leads to incorporate feedback and refine content promptly.
  • Contribute to high-impact AI evaluation initiatives at the intersection of scientific computing, mathematical modeling, and AI reasoning.

Requirements

  • PhD or PhD candidate in Computational Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong background in numerical linear algebra, computational mechanics, or scientific computing.
  • At least one peer-reviewed publication in a relevant domain.
  • Proficiency in Python for scientific computing, including tools such as NumPy and SciPy.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to clearly document complex mathematical reasoning and solutions.
  • Availability for 8 hours per day with a 4-hour overlap with PST.
  • Ability to complete a contractor assignment of 4 weeks.
  • Location in one of the eligible countries: Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Turkey, or Vietnam.
