Description

  • Develop and maintain features and tooling for Grafana Cloud’s portfolio of cloud integrations and observability apps.
  • Design and implement high-quality, scalable integrations for infrastructure components, databases, and applications.
  • Build prototypes and present ideas within a cross-functional team to iterate on solutions.
  • Contribute to and maintain open source projects and components used by Grafana Cloud.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape observability solutions and feature specifications.
  • Stay current with cloud-native technologies and modern development methodologies to inform implementation choices.
  • Represent Grafana Labs at meetups, conferences, and on social media to engage the community and users.
  • Work effectively in a remote-first environment, communicating regularly via video calls and operating with an independent attitude.

Requirements

  • Experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Solid experience with at least one programming language; Go and TypeScript are used on the team.
  • Familiarity with Python, Rust, C, or C++ is also applicable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly build domain knowledge.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Location: role open to candidates based in the UK, Germany, Spain, Ireland, and Sweden.
  • Preferred: familiarity with observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
  • Preferred: experience contributing to or maintaining open source projects.
  • Preferred: experience with cloud computing technologies.
