Description

  • Partner with the Sales team to communicate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
  • Own technical engagement with customers and help close high-velocity opportunities.
  • Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and technical evaluations for potential and existing customers.
  • Provide ongoing customer enablement through hands-on interaction and technical guidance.
  • Act as a feedback loop between customers, Product Management, and Engineering on product needs and the competitive landscape.
  • Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems discovered during engagements.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and other enablement materials.
  • Work closely with internal teams and customers in a remote-first, international environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open source technologies or in the metrics/monitoring space.
  • Ideally located in the SoCal or NorCal area.
  • Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership in a startup environment with varied and complex responsibilities.
  • First-class written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate value propositions and technical product advantages.
  • Technical mindset with a desire to grow technically.
  • Experience from a coding bootcamp, post-sales role, or engineering role is welcome.
  • Self-motivated, initiative-driven, and creative.
  • Comfort working with an international, remote-first team.
