Description

  • Define and evangelize technology principles that balance short-term delivery with long-term system health.
  • Architect distributed systems using Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
  • Select and validate tools such as Kafka streams and NoSQL stores to solve scale bottlenecks.
  • Design fault-tolerant systems using patterns such as Circuit Breaker, Bulkhead, and advanced rate limiting.
  • Establish governance frameworks that support developers without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Optimize data strategies including sharding, replication, and SQL/NoSQL performance tuning under heavy load.
  • Build scalable infrastructure with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Modernize CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, secure, and rapid deployments.
  • Drive FinOps initiatives to improve cloud cost efficiency while maintaining performance.
  • Lead architecture reviews, document architectural blueprints, and mentor senior engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in senior or lead engineering roles.
  • Proven track record in Microservices, EDA, and DDD.
  • Deep understanding of the CAP theorem, ACID properties, and fault-tolerance patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform (IaC).
  • Expert-level SQL/NoSQL knowledge, including sharding, replication, and query optimization.
  • Proficiency in Kafka, including architecture, stream processing, and reliability optimization.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Understanding of IAM, PKI, and secure VPC or hybrid cloud environments (nice to have).
  • Experience with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions and cloud cost optimization (nice to have).
  • Experience designing monitoring strategies with APM tools and logging frameworks (nice to have).
  • Ability to migrate monoliths to cloud-native architectures without downtime (nice to have).
  • Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and driving engineering excellence across teams (nice to have).
