Description

  • Develop new software from requirements using secure, maintainable, high-performance engineering practices and internal standards.
  • Lead project work through the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and launch.
  • Participate in and help lead Agile sprint activities such as planning, grooming, retrospectives, and daily scrums.
  • Provide technical guidance, oversight, and mentoring to software engineers and other team members.
  • Own assigned areas of work and assume accountability for code and features delivered by the team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, product, designers, and other cross-functional partners to review and refine software requirements.
  • Maintain and improve the performance, quality, and stability of existing software systems.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests to support compatibility and reliability of new and existing code.
  • Provide third-level emergency support to help keep the site operational with minimal downtime.
  • Create and improve software development processes, procedures, tools, and practices.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of .NET Core.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and T-SQL.
  • Experience with single-page application architectures, especially React.
  • Ability to design efficient distributed systems.
  • Ability to lead and mentor software developers.
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects end-to-end from planning through successful launch.
  • Ability to review code critically and provide constructive feedback.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Preferred experience with Agile/Scrum teams, Visual Studio, C# build processes, RESTful API development with gRPC or ASP.NET Web API, Git, MS SQL Server 2016+, CosmosDB, event-driven architecture, CI/CD pipelines, Azure, and Kubernetes.
