Description

  • Define and own the company’s global payment strategy.
  • Build and maintain a scalable payments infrastructure across multiple markets and payment methods.
  • Optimize payment performance across conversion, cost, risk, and user experience.
  • Own the roadmap for payment-related products and improvements.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with payment service providers, acquirers, banks, crypto processors, and alternative payment providers.
  • Evaluate and launch new payment methods across regions.
  • Manage commercial terms, pricing, SLAs, reserves, settlement cycles, and provider performance.
  • Build redundancy and fallback strategies across payment providers.
  • Monitor and improve payment metrics, including approval rate, decline rate, chargebacks, payment conversion, and processing costs.
  • Oversee settlements, reconciliations, refunds, and disputes to ensure smooth payment operations.
  • Own crypto payment flows and integrations across on-chain and off-chain systems.
  • Partner with Product, Finance, Analytics, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance on payment initiatives and execution.
  • Potentially build and manage a payments team over time.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Strong experience with payment systems, PSPs, acquiring, card payments, and alternative payment methods.
  • Experience working with international payment flows and multiple markets.
  • Experience negotiating and managing payment providers and commercial terms.
  • Strong understanding of payment metrics, economics, and optimization.
  • Experience with payment operations, reconciliation, settlements, and disputes.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Experience with crypto payments, digital assets, or payment processor integrations is required by the role scope.
  • Familiarity with KYC, AML, PCI DSS, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements.
  • English level B2/C1.
