Description

  • Own complex features from technical implementation through testing and delivery.
  • Develop scalable backend services using .NET Core and C#.
  • Build and maintain responsive user-facing applications with React or Angular.
  • Design, implement, and integrate REST APIs.
  • Work with MySQL databases, including querying, data modeling, and optimization.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
  • Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and full-stack technical issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and improve engineering practices, code quality, and development processes.
  • Collaborate with technical leads, architects, product teams, and engineers to deliver solutions.
  • Proactively communicate progress, risks, and blockers for assigned work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience; 5+ years preferred for senior-level candidates.
  • Hands-on experience with .NET Core and C#.
  • Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.
  • Strong experience with React or Angular.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and frontend/backend integration.
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests.
  • Understanding of software performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Experience using AI tools.
  • Ability to independently own features through development, testing, and delivery.
  • Strong English communication, problem-solving, debugging, and distributed-team collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, cloud platforms, CI/CD, monitoring, software architecture/design patterns, or distributed/nearshore teams (preferred).

Benefits

  • Monthly compensation of USD $2,800–$3,500, based on seniority and skillset.
  • Remote full-time position for candidates based in Latin America.
  • 40-hour work week.
  • Full-time contract managed through a payroll platform.
