Description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, features, and systems.
  • Work with senior team members to ensure designs and implementations follow architectural guidelines and best practices.
  • Participate in architectural design and contribute to system-level decisions focused on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Write unit and integration tests to improve software reliability.
  • Create technical documentation for software components as needed.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Bring continuous innovation and improvement to the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience using Python as the primary backend language.
  • Experience working with relational databases, preferably SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
  • Experience working with Ember and React in a frontend stack.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience strongly preferred.
  • English fluency.
  • Based in Latin America and available to work remotely.
  • Experience with NodeJS is a plus.

Benefits

  • USD $2,500 - $3,000 per month salary, depending on seniority and skillset.
  • Initial one-year contract with the possibility of extension based on the client’s needs.
  • Independent contractor arrangement through a payroll platform.
  • Fully remote work arrangement.
