Description

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to discover hidden patterns, opportunities, and insights.
  • Develop and own end-to-end, highly scalable data pipelines for batch and streaming workflows.
  • Design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms, especially for monetization use cases.
  • Provision and optimize data models for real-time (online) processing and serving.
  • Shape new data products and continuously improve existing products based on performance and business needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, BI, Analysts, DevOps, R&D and Marketing to define and deliver overall solutions.
  • Oversee full releases to production, including requirements analysis, testing, monitoring, measuring results, and rapid response to critical issues.

Requirements

  • B.Sc./M.A./M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent field.
  • 6 years of experience working as a Data Scientist.
  • Strong background in machine learning concepts and models.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and data-science/ML libraries (including regression & classification algorithms such as XGBoost or LightGBM, and recommendation-system algorithms).
  • Experience provisioning and operating models for real-time/online processing and serving.
  • Experience with databases and SQL for data retrieval.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana).
  • Preferred: knowledge of the programmatic advertising landscape (DSPs, SSPs, exchanges).
  • Preferred: experience with relational (e.g., Vertica, VoltDB) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
  • Preferred: experience with PMML.
