Description

  • Own Japan’s content priorities and editorial calendar based on local buyer needs and business goals.
  • Improve priority Japanese website pages and localize global content with strong editorial quality.
  • Create Japan-native content including customer stories, blog articles, solution guides, white papers, e-books, and video scripts.
  • Build SEO and AIO/GEO programs to improve discovery, engagement, and conversion.
  • Develop Japanese customer references and proof points with customers and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Work with Sales and Field Marketing to identify content gaps and create sales-ready assets for active opportunities.
  • Plan content distribution and activation across digital, events, partners, nurture, and Sales channels.
  • Collaborate with partners to review deliverables and co-create content for shared customers and campaigns.
  • Manage agencies and freelancers while owning messaging accuracy, product correctness, and final quality.
  • Measure content performance and use insights to improve engagement, lead generation, Sales usage, and pipeline influence.

Requirements

  • Native-level Japanese writing and editing ability with professional English communication skills.
  • 7+ years of B2B content marketing experience, ideally in enterprise technology, SaaS, cloud, data, cybersecurity, or AI.
  • Experience owning content beyond production, including distribution, activation, and performance measurement.
  • Understanding of Japanese enterprise buyers and the ability to explain complex technology in clear business language.
  • Experience with website content, SEO, analytics, customer stories, and demand-generation assets.
  • Ability to work hands-on while managing multiple projects, agencies, and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with local, regional, global, and external partner teams.
  • Thoughtful use of AI tools for research, creation, repurposing, and analysis while maintaining editorial standards.
  • Must be based in Tokyo, Japan, for a remote role.
