Description

  • Lead delivery of multi-workstream professional services engagements with large, strategic customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including executive leaders, counterpart program/project managers, engineering, development, and security teams.
  • Develop and execute a delivery methodology that leverages agile and project management best practices and communicate its use to key stakeholders.
  • Create and continuously communicate program roadmaps, dependencies, deliverables, and program-level Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
  • Define program strategy including justification, benefits, in-scope/out-of-scope projects, timeline, schedule, required resources, and stakeholder identification.
  • Create program-level RACI charts, success criteria, communication plans between projects, and escalation paths.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and obtain approval on project milestones.
  • Work closely with Engagement Managers and Technical Architects to define workstreams when scoping larger customer programs and review proposals or Statements of Work prior to signature.
  • Assist Regional Delivery Managers in creating and executing quarterly OKRs to optimize Project Manager processes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with forecasting and reporting metrics.
  • Ability to lead program-level Project Management meetings (e.g., Weekly PM meeting).
  • Experience formulating, organizing, monitoring, and managing interconnected projects (program-level project management).
  • Experience managing budgets and timelines for long-term projects.
  • Experience developing long-term plans in collaboration with customers and partnering with Engagement Managers and Architects to support customer adoption and transformation.
  • Experience building or applying delivery methodology that leverages agile and project management best practices.
  • GitLab Project Management Certification required within 2 months of the role.
  • Experience in highly visible, customer-facing roles and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Professional Services Engineers, Project Managers, Engagement Managers, Technical Architects, Professional Services Operations, Sales).
  • Willingness and ability to work in a remote-global environment (role is Remote-Global).
