Description

  • Own the product strategy and full roadmap for GitLab AI-First Continuous Delivery.
  • Define AI agent deployment governance, compliance controls, Kubernetes and container deployment experiences, and platform-level analytics and reporting.
  • Develop a point of view on how the continuous delivery market is evolving in the AI era through customer engagement, analyst input, and competitive intelligence.
  • Partner with Engineering, UX, Product Design, and Quality to define problems, evaluate trade-offs, and guide delivery through development and testing cycles.
  • Work with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Field teams to translate customer needs and adoption blockers into product requirements and release plans.
  • Define success metrics, run lightweight validations, and use customer feedback and product data to guide iteration.
  • Build cross-functional alignment across related GitLab stages and groups to create end-to-end build, release, deploy, and environment experiences.
  • Represent the Continuous Delivery product area internally and externally by communicating roadmap decisions and customer value clearly.
  • Launch the first version of GitLab AI-First Continuous Delivery and establish customer feedback loops that inform the roadmap.

Requirements

  • Extensive product management experience owning complex, technical B2B SaaS and developer-facing platforms.
  • Proven track record of launching new products and translating customer needs into product strategy and measurable outcomes.
  • A founder's mindset with the ability to create structure, make decisions with incomplete information, and take accountability for outcomes.
  • Deep experience with CI/CD systems and deployment tooling in enterprise environments.
  • Comfort working closely with Engineering on implementation details and technology trade-offs.
  • Strong understanding of software delivery personas, including developers, platform and DevOps engineers, engineering leaders, and release managers.
  • Strong technical fluency in deployment architecture, AI-assisted workflows, Kubernetes, and platform integrations.
  • Highly analytical, data-driven approach using qualitative feedback, product usage data, and market research.
  • Experience improving pipeline reliability, performance, and usability at scale (preferred).
  • Experience with complex deployment and release workflows from CI through deployment (preferred).
