Description

  • Develop and optimize core trading components, including matching engines, order processing, order book data structures, and low-latency service paths.
  • Investigate and improve system performance across code logic, memory management, concurrency models, network I/O, and operating system behavior.
  • Design and implement high-availability mechanisms to support failover, recovery, degradation, and business continuity during extreme market conditions or hardware failures.
  • Improve engineering quality through testing, observability, logging, metrics, tracing, documentation, and incident postmortems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with recent focus on high-concurrency and high-availability core systems.
  • Strong Linux network programming experience, including Socket, TCP/IP, or asynchronous I/O models.
  • Deep understanding of multithreading, multiprocessing, coroutine concurrency, and memory models.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks related to memory layout, garbage collection, CPU cache, network paths, and system limits.
  • Ability to stay calm under incident pressure and extreme market conditions, with disciplined troubleshooting, cautious release habits, and strong observability awareness.
  • Preferred experience with matching engines, order books, market data systems, brokerage systems, or high-frequency trading (HFT) development.
  • Preferred familiarity with lock-free structures, NUMA architecture, user-space networking stacks such as DPDK or kernel bypass, or hardware acceleration.
