Description

  • Own end-to-end delivery of major consumer-facing features from technical design through launch, experimentation, and iteration.
  • Drive frontend architecture decisions across component design, state management, data-fetching patterns, and performance budgets.
  • Build and optimize high-conversion flows for event discovery, seat selection, and checkout with a focus on speed, reliability, and user experience.
  • Design, instrument, and interpret A/B experiments with Product and Data to validate product decisions.
  • Implement frontend observability, including error tracking, performance monitoring, and real-user metrics.
  • Contribute to design-system components and frontend standards that improve team efficiency.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code review, pairing, and technical leadership.
  • Collaborate with mobile, backend, and platform teams to deliver cohesive cross-platform experiences.
  • Drive technical decisions and partner with stakeholders to define how features are built.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience for Senior Engineer candidates; 8+ years of experience for Staff Engineer candidates.
  • Experience with React Native and TypeScript or cross-platform mobile development.
  • Familiarity with Next.js or similar SSR/SSG frameworks and edge-rendering patterns.
  • Proficiency with modern state management tools such as Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or React Query, plus REST and GraphQL data-fetching patterns.
  • Strong UI engineering fundamentals, including responsive/adaptive design, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, and motion/animation.
  • Experience with frontend testing using Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Experience building or maintaining a shared design system or component library at team scale.
  • Demonstrated ownership of consumer-facing products at scale, with millions of users or transactions.
  • Experience with experiment-driven product development using A/B testing and quantitative analysis.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or public technical writing that demonstrate craft depth.
  • Exposure to web3 or digital-goods purchasing flows is a plus.
  • AI curiosity and fluency with tools like Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT is a plus.
  • Prior work in a two-sided marketplace, ticketing, or high-transaction-volume e-commerce product is preferred.
