Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance back-end systems, APIs, and databases for web and mobile applications.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and efficient server-side solutions that support high transaction volumes and fintech standards.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver features and services.
  • Ensure reliability, security, and performance across platform and application components.
  • Implement code quality, testing, deployment, code review, and automated testing best practices.
  • Contribute to technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the back-end team.
  • Stay current on back-end development, blockchain, fintech, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
  • Champion the adoption of AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in back-end development, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Mortgage or real-estate lending domain experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Node, Express, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Nest.js to build REST APIs and services.
  • Strong experience with SQL and some exposure to NoSQL is preferred.
  • Experience with microservices and event-based architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with caching and messaging queues such as Kafka.
  • Experience using Postman and Git or Bitbucket.
  • Prior experience working in a startup and taking a product from zero to one is preferred.
  • Experience in financial markets or brokerages is preferred.
