Description

  • Pick and fill medications in accordance with pharmacy practice guidelines and medication safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and help ensure product availability.
  • Manage patient charts and prescription data while protecting confidentiality.
  • Partner with pharmacists to answer medication-related questions and support patient care initiatives.
  • Pack medications and coordinate deliveries, including obtaining refill authorizations from physician offices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve the patient experience.
  • Manage assigned pharmacy tasks and workstations to complete orders promptly, safely, and accurately.
  • Follow pharmacy laws, technician regulations, and company policies.
  • Track performance against leadership-defined KPIs and quality benchmarks.
  • Stay current on pharmacy best practices, technology tools, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.
  • 1+ year of retail pharmacy experience in a high-volume setting preferred.
  • Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in your state of residence.
  • Solid understanding of pharmacy laws and technician-specific regulations.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy technology systems and willingness to learn new tools.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, work at a computer for extended durations, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and patient support.
