Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions for internal and external users.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver customer value.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Ruby on Rails and other modern programming languages.
  • Contribute to AI and machine learning initiatives to improve automation and prediction.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across high-volume, high-throughput production systems.
  • Build observability, alerting, and operational monitoring into the software you ship.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in software solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging software development trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
  • Experience building and deploying applications in Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience decoupling monolithic applications into externalized services with API interfaces.
  • Strong knowledge of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of backend technologies including databases, APIs, server-side technologies, multi-tenancy, workflow orchestration, choreography, and long-running saga patterns.
  • Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize both frontend and backend systems.
  • Strong interest in AI technologies or experience integrating AI solutions.
  • Preferred: experience in health tech or pharmacy-related industries.
  • Preferred: experience in supply chain or commerce technology.
  • Preferred: familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Preferred: understanding of CI/CD processes and modern development workflows.
  • Preferred: experience implementing and maintaining backend-for-front-end (BFF) architectures.
  • Preferred: strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship is available.
  • Employment is limited to candidates residing in approved U.S. states.
  • Short-term assignment typically lasts up to 6 months.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $124,800 to $156,000.
  • No commission eligibility.
  • Remote role with no required travel.
