Description

  • Define the company’s analytics strategy, vision, and roadmap for measuring product health, business performance, and coaching outcomes.
  • Build relationships with data consumers across the organization to shape data products and analytics design.
  • Design and implement dbt data transformation pipelines to produce clean, reliable, and interpretable datasets.
  • Integrate and normalize data from 30+ sources into a flexible, well-documented data model.
  • Perform strategic analyses on large, complex datasets and turn findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Analyze coaching outcomes, member engagement, and retention to identify drivers of behavior change.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations that surface key metrics and support decision-making.
  • Define success metrics for product and business initiatives and instrument new tracking as needed.
  • Use AI to accelerate data exploration, synthesis, documentation, and analytics workflows.
  • Raise team AI fluency by sharing effective practices and encouraging adoption.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or data scientist.
  • Experience building analytics practices at a startup or early-stage company from scratch.
  • Deep fluency in SQL and comfort reading and writing Python.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with dbt, Snowflake, or equivalent tools in production environments.
  • Proven ability to own full-stack analytics projects end-to-end, including data engineering, analysis, dashboarding, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Experience operating at the Senior or Staff level, or equivalent scope and autonomy.
  • Strong analytical instincts and the ability to form hypotheses using data.
  • Clear, precise communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management skills and comfort managing multiple workstreams.
  • Experience in health, wellness, consumer health, or marketplace businesses (preferred).
  • Experience scaling a data practice through rapid company growth (preferred).
  • Experience building AI-native analytics tooling or workflows (preferred).
  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude or Mixpanel and experimentation frameworks (preferred).

  • Base salary of $180,000–$210,000 per year.
