Description

  • Lead discovery conversations with clients to understand business challenges, technical requirements, and desired outcomes.
  • Assess and document existing infrastructure, applications, and operational workflows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Design tailored, scalable, and cost-effective managed services solutions aligned with client needs and long-term goals.
  • Develop and deliver solution proposals that communicate value, technical strategy, and expected benefits.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Support teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with company capabilities.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff from pre-sales discovery and solutioning into project execution.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and use that knowledge to strengthen service offerings and competitive positioning.
  • Educate internal teams on new solutions, sales strategies, deployment methods, and portfolio integration.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of technical support experience in an MSP environment required.
  • 2–3 years of Sales Engineer experience or equivalent solutions-focused technical experience required.
  • Backgrounds exclusively in SaaS, enterprise software, or general IT sales will not be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop and server operating systems.
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts and design, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and firewalls.
  • Extensive experience designing cloud solutions, including O365, Azure, Azure AD, and Intune.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management best practices.
  • Experience with RMM tools; Datto RMM is a plus.
  • Experience with Autotask PSA is a plus.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) is a plus.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong advocate for client success.

  • Competitive salary of $110,000–$125,000 per year.
  • Quarterly bonus eligibility.
