Description

  • Own the Lab portfolio by sizing opportunities, setting entry and exit criteria, and making scale, iterate, or kill decisions.
  • Frame and run experiments around the single riskiest assumption, with clear kill criteria and the right level of prototype fidelity.
  • Synthesize experiment results into clear recommendations and communicate what was tested, learned, and what remains unknown.
  • Prepare validated hypotheses, evidence packs, risks, and scaling recommendations for bets that are ready to hand off.
  • Source and close lighthouse pilots with defined scope, metrics, and off-ramps, and work with partners to move pilots toward validation.
  • Build and maintain a repeatable Lab operating system, including pipeline reviews, kill reviews, demo days, and post-mortems.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, and prototyping, and evaluate AI-enabled ideas with a realistic view of cost, data, and accuracy.
  • Build and lead the Lab team while personally owning 1–2 of the highest-leverage bets.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of product experience with a proven 0→1 track record.
  • Experience personally owning multiple high-risk bets with explicit go/kill decisions.
  • 3+ years of experience managing product managers in a player-coach or group lead role.
  • Fluency with validation tools such as discovery, prototypes, and engineered MVPs, including when to use each.
  • Cross-functional leadership experience across engineering, design, analytics, and go-to-market teams.
  • Comfort working in pre-sales and pilot settings, where learning speed matters more than polish.
  • Hands-on experience using AI as a product-building and exploration tool.
  • Ability to prototype with LLMs, APIs, or modern tooling and ship a functional prototype quickly.
  • Ability to scope AI experiments realistically and judge feasibility without full engineering validation.
  • Ability to evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner decisions.
  • Fluent in English and Russian.
  • Based in Spain and able to work remote during core hours of 9:00–18:00 CET.
  • Preferred background includes founder/co-founder roles, early-stage startups, internal labs or innovation teams, or new market bets inside larger companies.
  • Bonus experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or the nonprofit sector.
  • Bonus familiarity with the EU market, including PSD2/SCA and data/privacy norms, and additional languages.
