Description

  • Own the Lab portfolio and strategy, including opportunity sizing, entry and exit criteria, and scale/iterate/kill decisions.
  • Build and lead the Lab function while personally owning 1–2 high-leverage product bets.
  • Frame and run fast experiments around the single riskiest assumption, using the right level of prototype fidelity.
  • Synthesize experiment results into clear recommendations and explicitly decide whether ideas should continue or be killed.
  • Prepare validated hypotheses, evidence packs, risks, and scaling proposals for bets that are ready to hand off to Core or New Products.
  • Source and close lighthouse pilots with clear scope, success metrics, and off-ramps, and help move them toward business validation.
  • Build a repeatable Lab operating system with pipeline reviews, kill reviews, demo days, and post-mortems.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, prototyping, and evaluation of AI-enabled product ideas.
  • Publish decision memos and share failed experiments openly to improve transparency and team learning.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of product experience with a proven 0→1 track record.
  • Experience personally owning multiple high-risk bets with explicit go/kill decisions.
  • 3+ years of people management experience leading PMs in a player-coach or group lead role.
  • Fluency with discovery, prototypes, and engineered MVPs, including knowing when each is appropriate.
  • Cross-functional leadership experience across Engineering, Design, Analytics, and GTM, with comfort in pre-sales and pilot settings.
  • Experience working in environments where learning speed mattered more than polish and downside risk was real.
  • Hands-on experience using AI as a product-building and exploration tool.
  • Ability to prototype with LLMs, APIs, or modern tooling and ship a functional prototype quickly.
  • Ability to scope AI experiments realistically and assess feasibility without full engineering validation.
  • Ability to spot capability shifts and turn them into testable hypotheses, and to evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner decisions.
  • Fluent in English and Russian.
  • Based in Poland and able to work remote during core hours of 9:00–18:00 CET.
  • Preferred background from founding, early-stage startups, internal labs, innovation teams, or new market bets inside larger companies.
  • Bonus experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or nonprofit domains.
  • Bonus familiarity with EU market requirements such as PSD2/SCA, data/privacy norms, and additional languages.
