Description

  • Teach selected lessons in line with learning objectives and provided session plans.
  • Create a positive, professional, and inclusive learning environment for students.
  • Use instructional best practices, tech tools, and real-world industry insights to support adult learners.
  • Communicate regularly with students about progress, expectations, milestones, and concerns.
  • Provide individualized support during live class sessions, office hours, and asynchronous communication.
  • Give constructive and timely feedback on student deliverables and rubric-based performance.
  • Monitor student progression toward competencies and assist with Performance Action Plans when needed.
  • Promote student retention and satisfaction by fostering a positive classroom culture and sharing resources.
  • Model professionalism, ethics, empathy, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and ambassador for Simplilearn.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning.
  • Working knowledge of applied Data Science with Python.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of deep learning with Keras and TensorFlow.
  • Passion for teaching and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • History of making decisions with integrity.
  • Availability for a part-time, remote role with synchronous online classes.
  • Willingness to teach weekday evenings or weekend sessions based on cohort schedule.
  • Preferred: Candidates with qualifications above the stated requirements are encouraged to apply.
