Description

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex macOS, Windows, hardware, and software issues.
  • Act as the primary administrator for core IT platforms such as Jamf Pro, Intune, and Okta.
  • Lead small-to-medium IT projects from planning through execution, including software rollouts, security remediations, and office expansions.
  • Identify inefficiencies in onboarding, offboarding, and support workflows and implement process improvements.
  • Partner with the Security team on endpoint compliance, disk encryption, and vulnerability patching initiatives.
  • Create and maintain internal runbooks and employee-facing how-to documentation.
  • Provide technical coaching and mentorship to junior IT administrators.
  • Work with third-party vendors for procurement, support escalation, and software renewals.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in IT systems administration or a senior support engineering role.
  • Deep proficiency managing macOS and Windows devices at scale in a corporate environment.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Jamf Pro and/or Microsoft Intune, plus Okta or a similar identity provider.
  • Ability to use AI-native coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code and low-code platforms such as n8n to build automation workflows, scripts, or device configurations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using logs, terminal commands, and diagnostic tools to resolve complex issues.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills with a track record of delivering projects on time.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound technical decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Relevant certifications such as Jamf 300/400, Okta Certified Professional, or Microsoft Associate-level certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with API integrations using tools like n8n or Okta Workflows is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or tech-forward environment is preferred.
  • Experience supporting AV setup and troubleshooting for company-wide town halls and events is preferred.
