Description

  • Design, build, and maintain modern, responsive frontend applications integrated with blockchain protocols for core DeFi products such as exchanges.
  • Integrate frontends with blockchain infrastructure (EVM chains, Fuel VM), wallet extensions (MetaMask, Phantom, WalletConnect), providers, and on-chain data sources (subgraphs, indexers).
  • Implement secure user flows for transactions, multi-sig approvals, cross-chain bridging, and account abstraction.
  • Collaborate on API design (REST/GraphQL), optimize RPC usage, and design indexer queries for real-time data and event listening.
  • Establish frontend architecture, design systems, and Web3 best practices including testing, gas optimization, reentrancy guards, and accessibility.
  • Review code (including Solidity/Sway), mentor engineers, and drive technical decisions around stack interoperability and scalability.
  • Translate complex DeFi requirements (e.g., MEV protection, oracle feeds) into intuitive UI/UX for trading interfaces and market tools.
  • Proactively identify technical debt in smart contracts or frontend, propose upgrades (e.g., account abstraction), and help shape the technical product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a senior/lead capacity building Web3 or blockchain applications.
  • Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue) and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Web3 libraries and tooling such as ethers.js, viem, and wagmi, and provider integrations (Alchemy, Infura).
  • Experience building complex, data-intensive dapps that handle real-time streams (order books, AMM curves) and volatile crypto contexts.
  • Proven blockchain integration skills including browser wallet connections, signing, and on-chain reads/writes/calls.
  • Solid understanding of Web3 security concerns (private key management, blind signing risks, phishing, sandwich attacks).
  • Backend and off-chain experience with node services (Express, FastAPI), off-chain indexers (The Graph), and event listening.
  • Proficiency with REST/GraphQL, data fetching libraries (SWR, TanStack Query), and state management (Zustand, Redux).
  • Nice to have: experience at a CEX/DEX, building trading UIs (order books, candlestick charts), performance tuning for high-throughput DeFi, tokenomics/liquidity mining experience, and familiarity with design systems and tooling (RainbowKit, Wagmi connectors, Vite, esbuild, Foundry).
