Description

  • Implement high-quality features and improvements in a modern web application.
  • Design solutions that ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and engineering from discovery through delivery.
  • Work closely with other developers through pair programming and code reviews.
  • Help evolve Frontify’s platform capabilities and internal product organization tools.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and solve complex backend challenges.
  • Write readable, reusable, scalable, and well-tested code.
  • Work with legacy code while keeping coupling low and cohesion high.

Requirements

  • Experience in backend software engineering.
  • Basic frontend engineering knowledge is useful.
  • Ability to code with PHP, or willingness to learn PHP.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript and other languages is welcome.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Comfort working with legacy code and applying SOLID principles.
  • Ability to work remotely from anywhere in Switzerland or on-site in St. Gallen.
