Description

Build and maintain the executive financial dashboard covering revenue, margin, headcount cost, and key ratios on a defined cadence.
Build and maintain KPI dashboards and commission reports, calculating payouts accurately from source data and flagging anomalies.
Develop and maintain scenario forecast models for Base, Target, and Stretch planning.
Monitor and maintain the billable rate card, flagging rate drift and keeping it current as services evolve.
Serve as the team’s go-to resource for financial data requests and consolidate financials for insurance renewals, grant applications, and investor requests.
Review QuickBooks AP entries, investigate discrepancies, and keep payables accurate across both company entities.
Build and maintain planned versus actual expense reporting, flagging variances and following up on budget mismatches.
Run monthly labor allocation calculations and leadership variable compensation calculations.
Support the Accountant during month-end close to ensure the books are ready on time and the numbers tie out.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or financial operations role with ownership of real financial outputs.
Hands-on QuickBooks experience, including entries, AP, reconciliation, and reporting across multiple entities.
Advanced Google Sheets skills, including building models and dashboards from scratch with formulas, structured data, and clean layouts.
A builder mindset with the ability to improve manual, error-prone processes.
High accuracy standards, especially for commission calculations, labor allocations, and AP reconciliation.
Comfort using LLMs and AI tools to improve work, with sound judgment about when they are useful.
Direct, proactive communication style with the ability to flag issues without being asked.
Experience in an agency or professional services environment is strongly preferred.
Experience building or maintaining executive-level dashboards or financial reporting tools is preferred.
Familiarity with commission structures and variable compensation calculations is preferred.
Exposure to multi-entity accounting or inter-company reconciliation is preferred.
Experience with data visualization tools or lightweight BI tools such as Google Looker Studio is preferred.

Base pay of $3,000–$3,900 USD per month.
