Description

  • Serve as a core member of the game team and embed community perspective across development, social design integration, live-ops planning, and live execution.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and partner with game, communications, Player Support, and operations teams to align around player issues and opportunities.
  • Lead feedback loops, real-time sentiment analysis, and community reporting using qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Contribute to live-ops strategy and execution, ensuring community insight informs events, updates, cadence, and engagement systems.
  • Identify and implement community integration opportunities both in-game and out-of-game to strengthen player connection.
  • Partner with the Communications team on messaging, cadence, and community-first campaigns.
  • Engage directly with players, creators, ambassadors, and community leaders to inform product and live-ops direction.
  • Identify operational gaps, player friction points, and cross-functional misalignments, and drive structured solutions.
  • Develop and test new models for connecting players and developers beyond traditional community management.
  • Contribute to the growth, mentorship, and evolution of the Player Community function across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in live service, soft launch, and early live-ops environments, preferably in mobile or free-to-play games.
  • Experience in tower defense and tower merge games.
  • Ability to work flexibly across time zones with a globally remote team.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate community insight into live-ops strategy, events, and feature development.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to navigate differing perspectives while keeping teams aligned.
  • A solutions-driven, collaborative mindset with comfort resolving tension and ambiguity constructively.
  • Deep understanding of gaming communities, player sentiment, and social platforms including Discord, Reddit, TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and adaptability in fast-moving live environments.
  • Experience founding or running community-focused programs such as guilds, content creators, ambassadors, and VIPs.
  • Genuine passion for games, players, and fostering belonging through interactive systems.
