Description

Contribute to feature development for US gateway products.
Participate in system design and testing for mission-critical payment systems.
Manage and enhance infrastructure supporting the gateway platform.
Support daily product operations, including on-call responsibilities.
Help build and prepare US gateway products for customer onboarding and go-live.
Own technical solutions end to end from design through production support.
Collaborate closely with Lead Engineers, Staff Engineers, and Product colleagues on technical decisions.
Drive technical design and contribute to group decision-making across the team.
Support asynchronous collaboration across distributed teams and time zones.

Requirements

Deep understanding of designing and building distributed systems.
Experience working on complex, high-performance, highly robust software systems.
Familiarity with cloud and containerisation technologies, test automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
Interest in owning projects end to end and supporting them in production.
Appreciation of clean code and software engineering best practices.
Experience programming in Go.
Ability to choose the right tool for the job, including using other languages when appropriate.
Great communication skills and willingness to share knowledge and collaborate.
Experience with AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
Experience with CockroachDB, Elasticsearch, Vault, NATS, Terraform, GitHub, Prometheus, or Tilt is preferred.
