Description

  • Provide live support on incoming member calls and respond empathetically and patiently.
  • Explain Foodsmart services, eligibility, and benefits to members during live interactions.
  • Assist members with registration, scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments.
  • Help members access the Foodsmart platform and affiliate platforms.
  • Verify member eligibility, coverage, and provider benefits using internal tools and resources.
  • Document calls, resolutions, and follow-up details accurately and completely.
  • Troubleshoot platform, account, and basic technology issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners on food delivery and grocery ordering questions.
  • Support members with questions about telenutrition and help match them with the right dietitian.
  • Maintain accountability when handling sensitive and protected information and work with others to resolve complex issues.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a support role, either in person or on live calls.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely in writing.
  • Experience handling sensitive and protected information, including PII and PHI.
  • Basic understanding of HIPAA.
  • Reliable high-speed internet with minimum speeds of about 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload.
  • A completely private, secure, and quiet workspace.
  • Flexible availability, with preference for 11:30am to 8:00 PM PST.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt communication style to the situation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and stay organized under deadlines.
  • Comfort navigating knowledge bases and multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Preferred part-time availability of approximately 30 hours per week.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
