Description

  • Act as the first point of contact for all IT and technical issues, from hardware faults to third-party account support.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to end users and resolve technical incidents.
  • Support and troubleshoot macOS and Windows hardware (MacBooks, Windows devices).
  • Manage and administer SaaS platforms and third-party tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Freshservice, Notion, etc.).
  • Ensure security compliance across staff, including passwords, MFA, and MDM enrollment.
  • Enforce critical and high-severity software updates and proactively perform patch management.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including account and access management.
  • Manage IT assets such as phones and endpoints.
  • Perform basic network management and escalate more complex networking issues as needed.
  • Work closely with the IT team on business-as-usual tasks and assist on strategic IT projects.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills with a can-do attitude and strong drive to assist others.
  • Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and intuitive troubleshooting skills.
  • Good understanding of cyber threats, phishing techniques, and mitigation approaches.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and administering SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Freshservice, Okta, etc.).
  • Experience working in a remote IT team or distributed environment.
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to challenge poor decisions and propose better ways of working.
  • Experience working as part of a project team (desirable).
  • Strong networking knowledge (desirable).
  • Experience managing IT at larger-scale organizations (desirable).
