Description

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain binary-classification and regression models for financial-crime detection during transaction processing and client onboarding.
  • Own and evolve the Dynamic Risk Score (DRS), which scores the full client base daily across all markets.
  • Manage ML-enabled transaction-detection rules, optimizing performance and alert volumes.
  • Establish continuous production monitoring for models and rules.
  • Develop champion-challenger and A/B evaluation frameworks to ensure the best-performing models are deployed.
  • Contribute to ML operationalization infrastructure and inter-service integrations for model serving and inference.
  • Gather requirements, prototype solutions, and deploy them to production.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or full-stack Data Scientist, including production deployment experience.
  • Experience building and serving API-based ML services, such as with FastAPI.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks.
  • Ability to design and improve infrastructure for serving models of varying complexity.
  • Experience with production model monitoring and champion-challenger or A/B evaluation.
  • Quantitative education in mathematics, engineering, economics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience with graph modeling or foundation models/embeddings is preferred.
