Description

  • Own design throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery and problem framing through implementation, QA, and final polish.
  • Translate complex fintech and SMB workflows into clear, accessible, user-centered product experiences.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, Researchers, and Designers to define scope, outcomes, and high-quality releases.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and product specifications.
  • Improve the design system and raise product quality through greater consistency, accessibility, scalability, and craft.
  • Support strategic initiatives including modular pricing, onboarding transformation, and AI Copilot features.
  • Set the design direction and quality standard for the Core Experience used by all customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or other complex digital-product environments.
  • Formal education in Product Design, Interaction Design, UX/UI, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered thinking, interaction and visual design craft, and polished execution.
  • Experience designing complex platforms with multiple flows, states, permissions, edge cases, and dependencies.
  • Hands-on experience designing native iOS and Android mobile products, including mobile interaction patterns and constraints.
  • Experience working in cross-functional squads and communicating design decisions through research, product data, business context, and customer feedback.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • German language skills or experience designing for German-speaking users is highly valued.
  • AI-native approach, with experience using AI tools for exploration, synthesis, prototyping, critique, documentation, and iteration.
