Description

  • Own design throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery and problem framing through implementation, QA, and final polish.
  • Translate complex fintech and SMB workflows into clear, accessible, user-centered experiences.
  • Use research, product data, and customer feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, Researchers, and Designers to define outcomes, scope work, and deliver solutions.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and product specifications.
  • Contribute to the design system and raise standards for consistency, accessibility, scalability, and interface quality.
  • Support priority initiatives including modular pricing, onboarding transformation, and AI Copilot features.
  • Set and demonstrate the design direction for the Core Experience product surface.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, including setting direction beyond individual design work.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong design craft and clear, defensible decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience designing native iOS and Android mobile products.
  • Experience designing complex, multi-state platforms involving permissions, edge cases, and cross-team dependencies.
  • Ability to constructively challenge and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Research using data and business context.
  • Fluent professional English.
  • Fintech experience is preferred.
  • German fluency or experience designing for German-speaking users is preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools for activities such as rapid prototyping or research synthesis is preferred.
